Zebu!

Zebu was concieved in 2003 at Hampshire College during the feverish hallucinations of goblins and nomads. With Zebu, fulltime students Ted Lee, Steve D'Agostino, and Nick Williams formed the forefront of the Hampshire College music scene and brought life to a community that was deader than galileo (He's pretty dead). In 2004 the band split up due to artitistic differences, only to reform with guitarist Joe Tocci, sans Nick Williams. Steve and Ted working together, cut the first Zebu EP, Mindsticker. The year 2005 marked a significant growth in Zebu's creative output. The CD/DVD set Eat Doorknobs was realeased, followed by the infamous "40 grand single". In April we were privelaged enough to share the stage with the genius Gary Wilson at the Flywheel, as well as open for The Mammals Ted's video work has increased, and he has started using You Tube as a medium to exhibit both original material and live Zebu shows. The band split with Joe Tocci in April of 2006 as well, giving him as much love as we could any band give a lovely man like him. In June of 2006, Zebu completed their newest album, "Hookers In Sweatpants" and started Feeding Tube Records , the company that will be distributing Zebu material for the masses. Zebu continues to tour the East Coast and New England, sharing the stage with such great artists as The Reel Life Time Machines, We are the Seahorses and The Can Kickers. K
